Bootcamp XP...then Upgrade to Vista?

My school gives out free OSes, but our Vista version is only an upgrade ( 🙁 ).

I have XP bootcamped, if I upgrade it to Vista, will that work?

So if i ever wanted to have windows on my computer to do use some apps i cannot use in OS X...i would install XP rather than Vista...vista currently is having LOTS of problems and freezes and crap..so trust me keey the xp..forget vista...=\

If you use Boot Camp you can't use OS X and Windows at the same time. Parallels and VMware you can, but not at the same speed.
