hey guys, i have finally given up and am guna put windows on my macbook for some software that is windows only. i don't know anyhting about bootcamp, but is this the one people are using? i'm wasn't sure as it says it's only beta. is there a proper version yet? thanks

Bootcamp is still beta, but there are rumours that Leopard will make bootcamp part of the latest Mac OS, when it get's released. (some time in October?). If you use bootcamp you really can't go wrong, just be sure to go through the instructions before running the bootcamp installer, it will tell you handy things that you will need to know during the windows setup!
 
i installed it with windows xp yesterday... of course it helps if you've installed windows xp before.

just print out the pdf and you should be good. i was surprised at how well it works. your computer really does become a windows machine.
