Anyone have experience running Server 2008 and Hyper-V in Bootcamp? I'm got some studying to do and I'm planning to run Server 2008 RC2 and Hyper-V in bootcamp, along with 4-5 VM's to create a virtual domain environment.

I have a MacBook Pro i5, 7200RPM 500GB HD, and 4GB of RAM which I plan to upgrade to 8GB just for this purpose. With 8GB of RAM I'm assuming everything will run just fine as long as I have enough HD space for the VM's.

If you're looking to run them simultaneously, I'd say you may be a little short on ram at 4gb and you noted that you'll be upgrading to 8gb.

Also the number of cores the MBP has, will be a significant impact to performance if running the VMs at the same time.

While I'm not saying it won't work, I don't think you'll get the performance you're expecting.

You want to run Server 2008 with Hyper-V and 4-5 vm's on a single 500gb drive?

(yes I know old thread, but I wanted to see if he ever did it)
