Booting linux onto mac via usb?

Whats the best way to boot kubuntu onto my mbp. I have a 4gb usb drive and the .iso file on my mac.

Any tutorials would be appreciated!

I don't think there is a way of doing this currently. Booting from USB on Linux currently needs you to make a BIOS change and Macs use EFI instead of BIOS.

The easiest way to use another OS is to load it into some sort of virtual machine software.

VMWare Fusion
