if you bought yours with 1.1.1 or less pre installed you first had the 3.whatever it was and if you have the updated 4.6 bootloader. if you bought it with 1.1.2 like me or 1.1.3, it came with a 4.6 bootloader.
if you bought it with the 1.1.1 presinstalled, you can downgrade your bootloader, but if it was 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 you cant. i made a tutorial how to get back to 1.1.2 though and get the phone to work. youtube and search macintoshpie.😀

You want to find BBInfo, which will tell you all sorts of info about your phone, and towards the bottom will have the bootloader info. I'm not sure what source it is on, I found it on a french one (though the app was in english). Just google for it.
