iPhone bootloop after jailbreak

iphone 5 stuck in bootloop after evasion jailbreak. Is there anything to do to besides restoring?

I would restore and re jailbreak if I was making the decision.

I know I tried everything. But it's my friends phone and he didn't back up. He doesn't want to restore.

Its practically in every piece of jailbreaking instructions to do this before carrying out the procedure.

I don't want to be mean but your friend probably shouldn't be jailbreaking if he didn't think to back his phone up first.

Your "friend" prob did the updates OTA which is the reason for the boot loop I bet.
