MP 6,1 bootrom update

hi there,

just got my 6,1 last week and upgrade the cpu to an e5-2667v2 yesterday.
the mac comes already with an installed 1tb OWC ssd, catalina was installed but i changed back to mojave.
the bootrom is stuck at 127.0.0.0.0 and i never get the 133.0.0.0.0 rom.

is it caused by the "non original" ssd ?

yes, you need the original SSD to upgrade your bootROM

Any Apple 12+16 OEM SSD will work, SSUAX/SSUBX and SanDisk models.
