Hi, I purchased the game from the MAC App Store and completed the true vault hunter mode and I am at level 50. I would like to buy the package that allows me to play up to level 61 and/or buy the season pass.

I do not see that option at the App Store and was wondering how I can purchase the additional games and unlock UVHM.

Thanks, I do have the option to buy the "in app" extra missions but they do not include the up to level 61 option as far as I can tell.

    Dave

Ps I am playing on a 2012 IMac in osx.

Hey Dave, thanks for playing Borderlands 2!

UVHM is not yet available for the MacAppStore version of BL2. We are hard at work on it right now, and expect to get it live within the next couple of weeks. We will also be releasing the remaining BL2 DLC at the same time period :)

Dave I have a question about the Mac App Store version of BL2.

Since there are no Shift codes, is there a way to open Golden Chests? Or were they removed?

I would prefer getting the MAS version, but if something that significant is unavailable I might go for Steam instead.

Okay, thanks for the update - I bought the extra 11 levels and I am now at level 61.

Any word on when Mac App store purchasers will be able to buy the level 72 version?

I have not been able to open the golden chests - The only one I have seen is in Sanctuary at Pierce Station.

    MAS- Version and Multiplayer

    hi Blair,

i bought the MAS - Version of this game cause i do not like steam. first of all i knew there is no possibility to play with steam users over multiplayer. i read the Facebook site and thought: ok a lot of people this will be nice.

after a few weeks and no game together i regret this buy cause in 100% of the cases we wanted to play together but people just were not on forgot or what ever. this is not your fault i know but it is frustrating.

so my question will there ever be the possibility to play with steam users?
cause i would love to play coop.

    thanks for your infos ...
    cheers

Thanks for the support Syrinxx! Unfortunately, because of the way the MAS works, it is fairly unlikely that we will be able to have MAS players jump into a game with Steam players. I think alot, if not all of this issue could be solved by GameCenter being upgraded to include quickmatch abilities for games like BL2. Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to make this happen.

That said, next week will be a great week for MAS users. Keep a lookout for some cool new content :)

    oh my ******** god

your last sentence stretches these last days of my week.

thanks for your fast and informative answer. its always sad to hear that there is an issue which is normally easy to resolve but apple built a wall around it.

i really hope they open some new and good stuff for you and your games so at the end we users get better experiences.

btw your job with borderlands 2 is stunning! a really good job!!!! thx a lot for that

    cheers

Thanks Syrinxx! We worked (and continue to work) really hard on BL2. Gearbox is an amazing partner, and I can honestly say that BL2 is one of our best games ever released.

Keep your eyes peeled to the MAS on Tuesday ;)

Thanks for the response and I will watch for next week.

It is a little odd to play and not see your level increase!
