I was one of those idiots who bought Borderlands 3 for Steam, on launch weekend, mostly because of the 50% sale they offered.

Now, months later, still no Mac version on Steam, even though Gearbox has offered Mac support on Epic since day one.

Has anyone heard any word about an update coming for Mac on Steam??

Or barring that, maybe someone who has bought the game on Steam and plays on Bootcamp, who might be able to check to see if it will launch in macOS?

ive tried it, but my Mac doesn’t meet the minimums for it, and to be honest, I bought it hoping that 2K and Nvidia would sort out some kind of deal to bring their games back to GeForce Now.

all the thanks in advance.

I read the release announcement today here: https://www.macgamerhq.com/shooter/borderlands-3-mac/
For a second or two I was hopeful but when I scrolled down to the system requirements, well, what can I say? A 4.2Ghz Quad Core processor? AMD Radeon Pro 580 – 8GB VRAM? Mac OS 10.12? It's a very weird combination of requirements. macOS 10.12 is three years old yet the technical requirements exceed the performance of a new MBP.
I think we need to wait a bit here an see what the actual road tests reveal.
One thing for sure my 2015 MBP will not be able to run it. Might as well sit back an see how the next generation of Apple processors shape up. In the meantime I still haven't finished the Add Ons as Mechromancer in Borderlands 2.

I got it from the EPIC store a few months back. Plays around 60fps at max action. Setting near max. Fun game, lots of running, and gunning. I'll finish it. Also, Unreal Tournament is free at EPIC and plays on Catalina.

What Mac are you playing it on? I have just about exhausted my options on Borderlands 2, playing through now as Mechromancer in True Vaulthunter mode.

I know this is a crazy idea, but Borderlands 3 is currently $19.79 on Google Stadia until Wednesday. If your interested in AAA gaming on MacOS via Chrome browser.
