Four episodes into Season 1. If you like police detective series, this is a keeper. It starts with Bosch, an L.A. police detective being sued in a wrongful death civil lawsuit. However the story turns around the bones of a child discovered in a shallow grave.

I've actually watched all seasons, and it's very good. Looking forward to the new season in a couple weeks. Lots of landmarks in LA where you say "hey I've been there before".

The books are good too, although I haven’t read all of them. I think Titus Welliver is perfectly cast as Bosch.

My wife read the books and liked them so we watched all episodes of the series. Enjoyed it and have been waiting for the next season.

On book 15... love the books and love the series. The series blends more than one book into the story lines and they have jumped way ahead in the series versus the books.

Can't wait for the next season!

May 2022: Hot Dam Bosch is back, new series, Bosch: Legacy a direct continuation of the story watching on Prime, but it is listed as Freevee Network. Listed as an ad supported on demand streaming service, owned by Amazon. I noticed two 30 sec commercials during an episode.

Yup... first four episodes are good and man they are sticking to the book big time, which is a really good thing as it is a good book! There is some items that have changed with the other plot lines, but that is ok. Once again, we are hooked!

I know this is the Bosch series, however I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but the new Lincoln Lawyer series dropped on Netflix and I think it is pretty darn good. Nice filler between episodes of Bosch.

I really liked the fact they worked in the serial rapist case into this season and like the book, a female cop is kidnapped. Nice cliff hanger and can't wait for season two!!!

I’m a bit late to Bosch Legacy Season 2 that dropped in Oct 2023. I’m 2 episodes in and this season is tense! 😯

I’m really sad this is over 😔, not sure why this was cancelled, but apparently there’s a sequel in the same universe in the works called Ballard, the name of the detective he works with at the end of this season.

I haven't watched the final episode yet... been putting it off as I know that will be it. I read one of the Ballard books, but to me while it is somewhat the same, it didn't have the same feel as Bosch to me. For some reason, Bosch just had the something that made me want to continue reading the books.

I will give the new show a chance though. Fingers crossed!

I did not mention it before, but the end of the series felt short changed to me. This may have to do with the series being cancelled. It picks up a new story arc that could easily run for several episodes, but it’s over just like that. 😐

I have been seeing some of the same comments from various other outlets that I stumble upon... And I think you hit the nail on the head with the cancelling of the series, and from what it sounds like, it kind of caught folks by surprise.
