Bose Around-Ear or On-Ear?

I am looking for a good headphone for listening to music on my iPhone 3G and I want to know which is better, the around-ear or the on-ear? And if I buy from Future Shop or Best Buy (In Canada) will I get genuine Bose headphones or fake ones? Please respond with your opinions/experiences with these headphones and other recommendations for good affordable headphones, thank you.

I'm sure Bestbuy is not selling fake Bose products. The onlt Bose headphones I've owned are the noise cancelling ones and I prefer the comfort of the on ear ones.
