Thinking about getting some descent speakers for the iMac. I mainly just listen to music (my music library, streams from internet radio sites). I dont really see movies or play games. Do you guys think the C3 will do for my needs?

I love the C3, I have C2, but next time I going for C3 they sound awesome, awesome, awesome.

The way I saw it when I had this dilemma was that I was spending a lot of money on some speakers that were gonna last. It is a relatively small price increase for a great feature, the simulated 5.1, and you also get a lot more power to the acoustimass unit and twice as many speakers in the satellites. That made it an easy decision.

What i'm wondering is if Bose is gonna upgrade this C3 model. I mean they came out I believe in 2006, so I don't know if they are going to bump it.

I found a set of Bose Companion 5's for $225, some dealer via Amazon. Love the controls on it and they sound great and take up very little space. Some people like Bose, some don't, but for a consumer level speaker they do the job well if you can find a deal on em.
