I updated my 2018 Mac Mini OS to version 12.2.1 (21D62) last night

My Bose QC 35 wireless headphones no longer connect to it after the update. After initially failing to connect, I tried removing the device from Bluetooth settings. However it could not be discovered when I tried to add it again. Almost as thought it was invisible. But the headphones work and I have confirmed they can succesfully connect to another (non-Apple) device.

Any suggestions for how to proceed?

It never shows up in bluetooth devices? Long shot here, but does a network reset and a shudown/restart make any difference? Anything around that could conflict with your bluetooth signal?

click to open the Control Center and then hold down Shift and Option as you click the right-pointing arrow in the Bluetooth lozenge.

there are three reset options available: start with “Reset the Bluetooth module” and then restart your Mac.

If you still can’t remove or pair properly, try “Remove all devices.” You then have to re-pair any Bluetooth hardware you use with your Mac.

The third of those reset options, “Factory reset all connected Apple devices” lets you restore the settings on Apple keyboards, earbuds, headphones, trackpads, and mice all at once.
