iPod Bose SoundDock

My dad has the Bose SoundDock and is wondering if it will work with the new iPod. I understand it is a little wider, but do you think it will still fit in? We measured it with a ruler, but still aren't 100% positive.

The iPod is actually not any wider. It appears that way because the Click-Wheel is smaller. Or that's what people tell me... it's still 2.4" wide.

I just thought it was wider because of the new TV ad. It looks pretty wide in the person's hand... but this is great news! And another quick question: since it is the same width, will it fit in current Docks? Thanks a bunch! 🙂
