If you don't mind the look I think you will be very happy with them. Some bonuses with the Bose over the Jabra 65T - when you connect to the bose it will talk to you and say "iphone connected" or "ipad connected" or whatever you've named your device. The jabra just say "1 device connected" or "2 devices connected" but it doesn't tell you which specific one.

Also the Bose will tell you when you first turn them on what the battery percentage is and will also warn you when the battery is getting low.

I have to admit that this went on my nerves.

So I went to Best Buy last night and bought a pair of the Bose Soundsport wireless (with the wire connecting the 2 buds).

My initial thoughts after about an hour of listening to them:
- great sound and the bass I can clearly tell has a big boost with these ear buds! My pop/dance music sounds incredible.
- they are comfortable for the most part and stay in my ear just fine, but I haven’t used them to workout yet
- I like that it reads me the battery percentage when I turn them on. My previous ear buds (off brand, $30 pair) didn’t do that so I had to guess.
- I like the little clip that is on the wire. I can clip the wire to my shirt to not allow it to bounce up and down.
- No audio lag in videos! Was one of the biggest reasons I went with the wireless with connecting wire instead of the truly wireless version. It’s unexceptable that Bose’s truly wireless version of the ear buds has audio lag.
- My only complaint so far with these ear buds are that they let in quite a bit of ambinent noise. Which is good for some cases, but I don’t know how well I’ll be able to hear my music in loud environments.

Maybe try some different sized rubber parts, mine seal outside noise out quite well. My wife calls them my "ignore you" headphones because I can't hear a thing she says when I have them in and listening to something.

Really? What size are you using?

I got the E8 yesterday. After at least 30 min of trying to connect that stuff it worked. The thing is I’m used to have a certain bass (which also the wired EarPods are able to produce) and honestly, I don’t think I keep them. The sound is clear yes, but there is almost no bass at all. Also with the presets.

Am I to stupid or are they not for a target group who want some more bass?

Update: I’m really liking these Bose Soundsport ear buds! They are big and stick out of my ears like a mofo, but the sound quality they produce is worth it! I haven’t tried working out with them yet, but they stay in my ears just fine.

The only thing I noticed is a little connection thing...every once and a while I will pair them with my phone and the volume is really low (even on max level it still sounds low). So I will disconnect and repair the ear buds and the volume is then much louder. Anyone notice this with theirs?

I haven't had that issue with mine, but be sure they are updated to the latest firmware through either the Bose Updater or Bose Connect App.

Oh I didn’t even do that yet. I will be sure to do so thank you!

I can’t speak for the Bose but I didn’t even consider them as they were just way too big.

I have had the Jabra Elite Active 65t’s for 3 weeks and also am trying the AirPods that I bought for my daughter but she decided against.

I really like the sound and fit of the Jabras. I think the sound quality is pretty decent. The controls on the buds are good as well.

What I don’t like about the Jabras:

1. The charging cases lacks magnets to hold the buds in. Not a deal breaker.
2. They are not as seamless switching between devices as the AirPods.
3. Audio delay is fine on Netflix but definitely noticeable when watching YouTube videos. Annoying enough where I use the AirPods instead.
4. While I’ve had no issues, many reviews complain about one earbud failing and customer support being nonexistent. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t run into this.

Right now I’m using the AirPods connected to my iPad and for videos at home. I use the Jabras during my walks and for exercising.

I have purchased 2 pairs of Jabra Elite Active 65t's and they both have had issues with the left earbud. I had tried connections with multiple devices and keep getting dropouts - seemed to be worse at the gym. Not sure if its interference but I won't be buying a third pair so looking at alternatives!

I saw that problem in some of the reviews. I’ve had mine for almost 6 months now with no issues. I really like them and would be bummed if they didn’t work well.

The soundsport sounds great. I’ve never tried the tru wireless version but I’ve read comparisons that said my version had better overall sound with better kids and still has good lows and highs. The tru wirelessly version has a deeper fit in the ear and has a little better bass but not as good mids.

If you don’t mind their look I really think they are the best in the under $200 category.

I have the Bose Sound Sport Wireless Wired for 2 years. The sound quality seems spectacular, but I must criticize that with the passage of time I was never comfortable adapting to my ears. I tried the different adapters but I did not succeed. My use is almost daily to train and at the time I had read that they had many probkemas with the quality of the buttons to increase the audio download or malfunction. Two weeks ago I broke the volume commands and also the power button. The truth is a bad experience with Bose. Buttons uncomfortable, poor quality and aesthetically very large.

For this reason I finish buying some Jabra Active Elite 65t. The first impression is how well they are inserted into the ear and how passive sound isolation works. I found the sound quality excellent, with different EQ adjustment modes. compared to the Bose, it will be that by not getting into my ears well something was lost sound. The Jabra im change seem very comfortable, with several adapters to fill the ear well and the quality is excellent. I had the opportunity to try airpods 2 and although the sound is good, the lack of passive sound cancellation does not stop me from converging. The Jabras were excellent. I hope I do not have the problem of losing sound in the left earphone

Thanks for the comment, so I don’t need to test them.
I can imagine the Bose have some more bass, but their size...

Did you come up with solution / tip?

A lot of you should just get the Powerbeats Pro's when they come out next month. Will solve a lot of the issues I'm seeing in this thread.
