The one with the book doesn't look like much of a Pharoah, either.

It would be interesting to see if pyramids show up everywhere.

Im guessing its just a stock photo of bosnia. I cant believe how much the news relies on stock photos!! (i.e. a story on dell showing a mac, or the other way around)

I cant wait to see who built these pyramids!

(by the way, I wound NOT be walking around in the bosnian wilderness for fear of landmines.)

no there were definitely some native americans that made pyramids... they weren't anywhere near the scale of egyptian pyramids, but they definitely existed... I want to say Connecticut, but I'm not sure...

We learned about them in an intro to archaeology course I took over the summer... I'll see if I have any notes left over...

edit: found some stuff... it looks like North Americans were "mound builders" rather than actual pyramid makers, but some of their stuff is pretty big. Like Monk's Mound in Illinois... not bad

Archeologists have uncovered the outer wall of a massive pyramid in Bosnia. Satelite technology has also suggested that there are two other smaller structures beneath the ground as well. This is the 1st evidence of pyramids in Europe.

 That is very cool- pyramids in Europe. :)

Makes you wonder what could be buried right underneath
your very own feet. ;) :)
