iPhone SE (2020) Bottom right of phone thinks it’s being pressed

I’ve spotted when typing that the phone starts automatically deleting text and was wondering what was going on. It’s a iPhone SE 2020.

After playing with it a bit more I deduced that it’s when a finger hovers near the M or Backspace or return key it thinks it’s being pressed and starts changing things.

I also noticed it’s not always when typing. If I hover my finger over the dock it will open the Music app.

Has anyone seen this before and fixed it?

While your case may be hardware related, I have similar issues with iOS 18.1. The return of the crazy cursor, latency, and a few other wild-cards for good measure. 🤷‍♂️
