Hi there, so i'm trying desperately to put my website up. I bought a domain on google through go daddy... and i can't figure out how to upload my iwebsite. I do not have a .mac account, and do not want mobile me. I have cyberduck to aid in transferring my files, but I don't get it, did i just waste 10 bucks? do i need a host? or is go daddy the host?

I'm really new at this, but I could use your help! please help me!!

Yes, you will need to host your site on a web server. Your purchased domain, is just domain registration, and DNS hosting. Once you find a web server, you can then place the IP of the web server as your A record in the godaddy control panel. Also you will need to ftp your files up to your web server. Then it should resolve correctly and show your website when you type it into your browser.

Also, this post should be moved to a software category.
