I recently stopped by a local estate sale and they had a LG 27" monitor sitting in a bedroom on an old desk with a $200 tag on it, I didnt see any model when I looked on the back, but I remembered LG puts their info on the bottom edge on the display, so I turned it over and it was a Model 27MD5KL. I looked the model number up and seen it was a 5K display especially designed for Mac desktops and was a Thunderbolt 3 interface which I did notice it had a thunderbolt cable. So I asked the person in charge of the sale if they would take $150 and she said yes.

I carefully put it in the back seat of my car and headed home. I disconnected my Mac Studio display and hooked the LG up and I was shocked at the resolution and color on the LG, the camera and speakers all interafced up to my Mac Studio M1. I wanted to make sure there where no issues, so I ran the monitor for 3 days with zero issues and decided to sell the Mac Studio display. I listed it on FB Marketplace and the first person who came to look at it, bought it for exactly what I was asking for it.

Now I am rocking the LG on my system and don't miss the Mac Studio at all, I know the build quality on the Apple was better because its metal vs plastic, but for what I paid for the LG, I don't miss it that much at all

Keep us posted on how it goes in the future. Nice find though.
