Hello,

This is my second MacBook Pro, however, I'm a little disappointed that iMovie isn't included in the iLife Suite anymore for free. My old MacBook (2009) has the software. Is there any way I could transfer that and perhaps my iWork Suite over to the new macbook?

All iLife and iWork apps are free with every new Mac aren't they? Even though they're now individual downloads rather than packages.

Go to the nearest apple store and copy it. With new laptop you already own license

iMovie should be included. When you open the Mac App Store and sign into your account, you should get free licenses for iMovie, Garageband, Pages, Keynote, and Numbers.

I have the same problem. Garageband not free at the app store

Its not free on the apple store but when you sign in with your new mac it should either be installed or the ability to download it for free.
