Bought a RMBP from Best Buy and didn't get any discounts/gift cards

I'm aware that buying through Apple you can get a $200 education discount and a $100 gift card to the App Store. I bought my RMBP from Best Buy earlier today and the discounts/gift cards totally slipped my mind. Is Best Buy doing education discounts and/or gift cards on the RMBP? I'm gonna go back and raise hell lol jk.

Yes, other users have been getting the $200 Apple student discount plus a best buy gift card.

Just bought mine today from a Best Buy and received both the $200 education price and the $150 gift card. Go back to the store, see a manager and get the adjustment.

Just tried and failed to get both discounts. Education pricing should not be considered a discount. But Best Buy does. Best Buy failed. And lost a hefty purchase because of $100 bucks. I can wait.
