just bought my ipad 2 to realize it had 1 dead pixel :O!!! i am not really bothered, because it can only be seen on black colors.. i dont know if i should replace it (its hard to do that here in jordan)u might ask why i am posting this if i am not really bothered, i am worried that other dead pixels might show up or something might be wrong with the display? any tips?

If you are not happy, exchange it! After all, it's an expensive device! :)
 
I've always heard of the dead pixel thing as being part of the initial manufacturing process and not some indication of future problems. So if one pixel doesn't bother you and you don't see any other issues, there is no reason to take time out of your day to do an exchange.
 
I would probably return it, considering how easy it is to do so where I live. But then again, you said its hard to exchange for one in Jordan.
