Hi,

I’m currently living in Shanghai, China and want to buy the Iphone 5 when I’m going to NYC on a quick visit next week – but which model should I buy so that I’m sure it will work during my stay in Shanghai and when I go back home to Denmark in a half year?

I just want to be sure that the phone will fully function here in Shanghai and when I get back to Denmark.
And of course it needs to be unlocked.

Thanks in advance!

You need the CDMA for LTE to work in denmark, and the GSM model for speech/3G to work.

In other words, if you want LTE, you need european iphone.

Don't know if the CDMA US is the same as the european GSM model (they got the same numbers).
Model A1429
(CDMA model)

Model A1429
(GSM model)
