for $10 dollars (yes, ten dollars.not a typo).... I am really unfamiliar with the prices they go for and macs in general, but obviously know that its worth more than what I paid. Any guesstimations on what its worth would be greatly appreciated!

    heres what I know:
    Model Name: Mac Pro 1,1
    Processor: 2 X 2.13 GHz unknown
    Total number of cores: 8
    Memory: 12 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Graphics: 2 X NVIDIA GeForce 7300GT (has 4 VGA outputs)
    Serial-ATA: Bay 1- samsung HD103UJ (1TB)
    Bay 2- Hitachi HD S72505 (500GB)
    Bay 3- samsung HD103UJ (1TB)
    Bay 4- samsung HD753LJ (750GB)

also in the applications folder has parallels with windows 7 ultimate installed, autodesk AutoCad, Adobe Master Collection, iLife 09' and a bunch of other stuff...all seem to be full functioning versions.

I also picked up the two tv's that they used as displays for $150. They are SyncMaster P2770HD's.

I have no idea how much it is worth but I would guess at least $500.

That has to be the bargain of the century - so jealous

You got some swapped procs in that thing. 2.0GHz, 2.66GHz, 3.0GHz are the choices for the 1,1 revs. But.. they are 8 cores as the originals were all Dual, Dual Cores. So maybe awesome? I would install Windows on it to see what processors you re actually running.

Or download CPU-X. That's sort of a CPU-Z – only for Mac. It's not as good as the original but will give you the CPUs' specs.

You can sell the case alone for a nice profit if you wanted.

Holy cow! That system is probably worth closer to $1000, even if the CPUs are definitely not originals. Just the case alone sells for about $200 or so.

Good call. Also could try MacCPUID. CPU-X crashes for me.

Clovertown. Nice upgrade. Better than the originals or at least the 2.0 and 2.66GHz ones. Probably beat the 3.0GHz er too. If it is stable you got one helluva deal.

In effect its a slower Mac Pro 2,1, so for multi-threaded things that should easily beat even the 3.0Ghz model.

    http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20E5330%20-%20HH80563QH0468M.html

It has a 1066MHz frontside bus as opposed to the 1333MHz of those Apple used; but that doesn't really matter. Back in the day, I swapped the CPUs of my Mac Pro with 1066MHz frontside bus ones too and that didn't make a great difference compared to the 1333MHz ones with the same clock speed and number of cores I popped in later (5350 vs. 5355).

Provided it's stable with no issues, put some 3ghz quads in that baby and make it scream. Nice catch. I upped mine from 2ghz dials to 2.33 quads and it kicked some serious butt compared to the 2ghz chips. Suggest you install smcfancontrol to keep those 8 cores nice and cool. Enjoy it.

Reminds me of someone from my home town who had monthly yard sales with GREAT DEALS. He was selling all the stuff he had stolen from his neighbors.

Lol, just kidding, but wow, Congratulations! Talk about luck! Its like you've just won the lottery (maybe a scratcher ticket where sometimes $10 will get you $1,000, which is what happened in your case ;))
