    I just bought a 2012 MBA, 1.7ghz, 8gb.

I bought a Logitech mouse. Speck case. And sleeve.

    Any other suggestions?

Software suggestions? Since I got the $100 gift card.

A case and a sleeve? I got a iPearl case for $20 on Amazon free shipping. Maybe a monitor 19-24 inch with a wired apple keyboard (I love the numpad).

Software-wise I got iTeleport because I access my home server for that and Blackjack world pro. iWork or Office if you're doing docs or a student.

But here is a good list:

if you're going to do presentations or hook it up to a tv, you'll want a thunderbolt-to-hdmi adapter. or thunderbolt-to-vga to projector or monitors. thunderbolt-to-ethernet if you ever go where there's no wifi.

i like keyboard covers to keep the original keys nice and clean and offer some protection for splash/spills.

external usb3 drive for backup or extra storage
