Bought MBP last week before the new one came out

I bought a Macbook Pro last Sunday. Then on Thursday, the new one came out. Not to sound stupid, but would most of you go return the 'old' one to get the 'new' one? Thanks.

Actually it is the official policy. Since they do not announce update release dates, there is a built in clause. If there is an update within 30day of purchase, you can exchange it for a new one.
 
Go ahead and do it. I bought one on Feb 11 and exchanged it on Thursday right after they opened. No big deal either. Just bring the packaging and a receipt. The receipt isn't necessary, but it always helps since they can scan the barcode on it to do the exchange. Easy stuff.
 
If it's a 13" then you should probably consider whether the diminished 3d graphics performance is going to be an issue for you.

If it's a 15" or 17"...you'd be kinda crazy if you didn't swap it out for the new one.

there's a lot of these threads lol. How'd you not find this site before but signed up just to ask this? Just sayin... last Sunday? I think anyone on the internet would've known new MBP's were near by last Sunday. Sorry to single you out, just in general for all the people asking this the past couple days.. kinda.. bunk.
 
woah. Few comments shouting me down because I think that if someone is dumb enough to drop that kind of money without even a simple google to buyers advice, that apple should not really bother accepting anything outside of the 14 day limit....

Wow. Some of you are kind of mean on this forum.

I exchanged the Macbook this afternoon and they couldnt have been nicer to me.

I am not so sure I will be back to this forum tho.
