Bought New Apple Watch Charger OEM charges faster?

I just got a new Apple Watch charger (the one with the metal base/casing) and my first time charging my Apple Watch SE 44MM and its charging it a lot faster than my previous charger (all plastic) with the same Apple 5w charging USB-A brick.

Anyone else experience the same?

Is the charger with the metal back a better/faster charger than the plastic one?

I know, I'm asking/curious about the different chargers themselves.

The all white plastic one charges my SE slower than the metal charger.

I am asking to see if anyone else experience the same.
