i love my apple BT mouse, great feel to it. although if there was a BT verion of the MX1000 i would be tempted to use that....

Wouldn't that be the MX900?

I got it for Christmas (sort of - it was a gift card) and I love it.

MX9000 is optical, 1000 is laser and has left/right scrolling on the wheel.

I love my MX1000, although I'm beginning to think 8 buttons isn't enough :D

How many pedals does a car have, just 1? no its got more... so a mouse should too...

Now, I'm agreeing that Apple should provide 2 button mice. But that analogy is terrible. The difference is, a computer will work with a 1 button mouse and it will work fine. A car needs at least 2 pedals to operate unless you're Fred Flinstone. I'd like to see you operate a car with just a break pedal, gas pedal, or clutch pedal.

i think the whole apple should make a two button mouse thing is way too overblown... if you want a two button mouse go buy one. if you really need to, stick an apple sticker on it (would be very un-mac like). I use both and I'm a happy camper...

Anyway, I'll stick with my Wacom pen. Thank you very much... :D

I think the one button mouse as some others have stated is better for RSI prevention - which is a big issue since I'm using my computer about 9hrs of everyday!

I find most people that hate the one button mouse tend not to use keyboard shortcuts. The biggest one being arrow keys to scroll through web pages.

I'm a little worried that my new B/t mouse is a little heavy and might as others have said promote RSI. I have found that it is 100% better on a nice mouse mat, but I'm keeping an eye on it.

I know a guy who had worked ridiculous hours, with the wrong posture etc since the early days of Apple and developed a really bad case of RSI. So bad this guy cannot work anymore as a designer, he now works as a lecturer at a local college. He misses the glory days.

I will check back in with you 8button mouse users in 30years and how your wrist is going :p

I couldn't use a one-button mouse, especially when playing WoW, the right click button is used so much.

I would understand Apple making a one-button mouse if there were no right-click menus in Mac OS X but there are tons of them (obviously!) Seems pointless to have right-click context menus and make people Cmd or Option click it (or whatever the key combo is). And what makes it even crazier is that if you plug a 2-button mouse in, the right click works as it should on these menus!

I admit, I used that key combo with my PowerBook's trackpad (and still do) but now I have a two-button mouse it just feels so wrong having to hold a key and click the mouse to get a context sensitive menu.

Until Apple make a two-button mouse (preferably with a scroll wheel) they're just going to keep losing business to Logitech and Microsoft who make them!

Just my 2p.
