Bought the new iPad yesterday and now in tears

tears from happiness and joy. I think I owe the forum a big apology. A couple days ago I made a thread questioning if it was worth it to upgrade from the iPad 2 to the new iPad given reports of yellow tinting, etc.

Well I can finally put that question to rest. YES it is so damn worth it. The retina display is jaw dropping. It's like going from an iPhone3GS to an iPhone4. Colors are vivid and pop out at you. Browing photos is more awesome. Reading is even better because text looks so much better.

LTE is super fast and the camera is really good! I've been having a blast taking photos with it and then browsing them and playing with them using iPhoto.

Thank you Apple. You reminded me of why you have so many loyal followers.

Glad you love it. I'm behind you, maybe a month or two behind you, but all I can say is that my electronic music reading (for performance) will take on a whole new level of quality once I get mine. I also do hobby pictures and photography (and a timed inventory capture of the Rawlings Conservatory). I'm definitely game in acquiring the device, myself.
 
Reading your thread title I was expecting to see some pics of a broken iPad lol!!

I too am stunned at this new device. I have been using Apple products since the late 80s and I can tell you that I have never been so blown away as I am now. If any of the lurkers haven't bought one, just go to the store and have a look. It will make you buy one.
 
I was expecting bad news, glad it wasn't. I couldn't agree more with you, I am enjoying my iPad 3 this weekend.
 
Your screen is breathtakingly gorgeous and clear. I so wish mine had been. Very sad panda here but hopefully when I am able to get a replacement, I will be in happy tears too!

I was pretty impressed with the retina display when I first saw it, but I didn't REALLY start appreciating it until I started reading The Daily this morning--my god it looks fantastic.
 
Your iPad looks great! I absolutely love mine. This thing has been replacing my MacBook Pro and iPhone for almost everything. It's shocking how much work I've been getting done on it.
 
totally came into this thread to laugh at someone's misfortune, so I'm sort of disappointed.. kidding, kidding!

i actually kind of questioned upgrading from ipad1 even, but i also totally love the new ipad
