As long as it hasn't been 30 days (and there is no water damage), you should be able to return the boy.

Well he did crack his little baby glasses. Do you think they'll still take him back for a full exchange? Will they charge me for the glasses?

i just made the switch.... I had a white getting a black. I ordered from apple.com, so i have to wait a little bit to get the black in the mail. But i must say, ive been on the phone with Apple the last few days, and the their customers services is the best i have ever dealt with.

I bought mine on the 13th i think to guarentee 19th delivery does that count as part of my 30 days? or is it the 19th? 30 days is coming up this friday and I really want to get the white one. How did apple arrange you to get the white for your black? Is there a restocking fee? Do you send yours in first?

wow that was a lot of questions.

its the delivery date.....i bought mine on the 13th too. I havent been charged a restocking fee , but i did have some minor defects on mine. I had to mail it today, and once fedex scans the shipping info supplied by apple, they shipped my replacement....

edit: i did ship it today and it was scanned by fedex....i haven't received confirmation of new shipment, thats just what the apple rep told me happens.we will see tomorrow?

At my local apple store, they don't charge the fee for exchanging for color preference or model when you are within the remorse period. That's because they care only if it was opened or not. My argument was that the genius had to open it so it wasn't my choice. They agreed along with the manager and everything went smoothly then.
