iPad mini Box looks very un-Apple (not a big deal, tho)

not only is the black/slate a white box (why do this after starting the trend of black iPhone 5-black box?) but the way the UPC and Serial # sticker is put above this already large, out of place sticker about the contents of the box all in the bottom left is awkward like an Asus Nexus 7 packaging.

Found it sort of interesting..

Couldn't it have been spread out along the bottom like on iPad3 packaging?

iPad has always been boxed in white. No matter it's black or white version.
 
That's true I guess.

and 4S black box was white...

But those stickers just seem kinda weird.

As I said before though, really a moot point. I stash the box in my closet and let it collect dust until it comes time to resell (if I do)

Thats it! I've had it, I'm never buying an Apple product again. They think they can just do whatever they want on their boxes, and people will still buy what's in them. Congratulations, you've lost my business Apple.
 
Maybe it's to scan the boxes easier when checking out? I've seen employees have a hard time scanning codes when they are on the edge near the bottom.
 
Now we are going after Apple for the boxes :)

now the stickers on the iPAD3 box's are gonna be old school. Junk, throw the boxes away.

Cant wait for Apple to do a big F-U to everyone and make Comic Sans the default font.

Haha OP totally agree/understand with you. Are you in the graphic design field by any chance? I am, and people always make comments like I'm crazy when I point things out like that.
