How will you be spending your Boxing Day?
Shopping? Looking at your gifts from Christmas?

I'll be watching the 2006 IIHF World Juniors.

Boxing Day is the day after Christmas when you put all your presents back in their boxes. :)

And then give them to someone else that you did not see on Christmas Day. :D

Well, there goes all hope that you might hit for the other team. :p

Sorry, never any hope there. I love my lady. :D

I wish I could go lay on a beach...without getting roled back into the sea. :D

Okay, that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time! :D

You know it's unwarranted though.

Boxing Day

The day after Christmas, the Feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, is better known as Boxing Day. The term may come from the opening of church poor boxes that day; maybe from the earthenware boxes with which boy apprentices collected money at the doors of their masters' clients.

Nowadays, we often see, in certain families, gifts (boxes) given to those who provide services throughout the year.

"Boxing Day" is listed in the Canada Labour Code as a holiday.

Well unless they get my back fixed proper.

I'll just have to hit the tanning bed at the gym...after I do my pansie excercises that I am limited to.

Blah.

Boxing Day - In Australia, too?

I have to go to my sister's in-laws for dinner. Apparently I'm to provide moral support in case they take over trying to plan her wedding...

I have nothing in common with them and it's going to be awful... perhaps I'll take a hipflask and keep drinking to get through it. ;) It's really not fair when you have to put up with someone else's inlaws; I thought not having them was a perk of being single!
