Braided loop appreciation post - excited for multicolored bands

Now that I swapped this band out for the right size, it is my new favorite band. I will probably buy the product red when it comes out, and I want this is a variety of patterns and colors! I see a lot of potential here!

How do you figure out what stores have them. Nothing near me has ever shown any stock.

I had to do a return and inquired while I was there.

Tip: Even though the Apple site may state your local store doesn’t have any, that isn’t really true. They usually do have some in stock albeit the amount and sizes are limited when the website says not available for pickup.

Yeah, not going to just show up at a random Apple Store during a pandemic to ask if they have some hidden bands that they don’t want to advertise. And it has to be in my size. Not workable.

The app will show the “self checkout” button for a band in stock on the app but you do have to be near or outside/inside the Apple store to use this method to see it in stock. Once you’re there, if they don’t have stock of the band you want, they can also check real time stock of other Apple stores nearby. I was told due to limited inventory, they are not allowing you to buy from home for later store pickup. Walking by the local store here and then checking the app showed yesterday that my size/color was in stock. That’s how I got my braided blue and my size also...and I love this band def one of my fav.

Yes, I made an appointment at an Apple store to get the right size band since the 4 I ordered was too big. They gave me a tool and I measured. Oddly, their tool measured the correct size (3) while I got a 4/5 on the printed tool. Once I got the right size they checked their stock. They had the green and blue available and I chose the green, but the blue is really nice too!

Yeah, not going to just show up at a random Apple Store during a pandemic to ask if they have some hidden bands that they don’t want to advertise. And it has to be in my size. Not workable.

I made the mistake of going last Monday and got sick afterwards...no fun.

Great tip. I just have to find a store nearby that is outside a mall. The 3-4 closest ones are all inside.
