Brain cramp - dumb question...?

Hey all, how do I convert a .png file in PS so I can drag it into another working PS document? Make sense? It won't let me drag and I am having a brain cramp... 😛 Thanks!

It must be an indexed color file.

Go to image/mode/RGB color and iy hould work.
