Hello. I just received my new MacBook Pro. I opened it up and pressed the power button, but I get nothing. It will not boot up, at all. It is like it has no power. I plugged it into the wall and still will not boot.
Do I have to leave it plugged in for a while before it will power on, or should it power on and boot up immediately? If it should, I guess it is DOA...which really stinks because I need it for work.
I got it from Amazon and from what I read I cannot exchange it for a new one at the Apple Store. They will only do repairs if purchased outside of the store. Amazon will take until at least Tuesday to get another to me.
It's pretty frustrating to have an $1800 device not work upon arrival, but I guess it could happen to anyone with anything.
Thank you in advance for your response.
