Brand new 4s STUCK on Apple screen, help

So I just got my iphone 4s and the white apple against black background has been coming on for a minute or 2 at a time and then the screen blacks out, then it comes back on again. What do I do.

After a quick search on here, I put it into recovery mode, reinstalling iOS5 now...

Now the apple just keeps coming on and going off

YUP, iphone 4S, doesnt work. Cant wait to get to apple later and flip ****

phone is officially JUNK. Heading to verizon after work to attempt at getting it replaced. Unreal

crisis averted, verizon store replaced my phone in person
