So I got this new camera for my birthday to up-the-ante for my YouTube vids. (channel in my sig)

I was however looking for some accessories such as:

  • A wide angle lens (Raynox HD-6600 PRO looks tempting)
  • A light to plug into the hot-shoe adaptor
  • A shotgun mic!

Any other suggestions for the lens and suggestions for the light would be greatly appreciated!

If there is anything else you think I should get related to this camera or my filming then please do say!

Thanks

An external microphone would also be a good investment if you need the sound of what you're filming.

Yes, forgot to mention that! I am looking for a mic too!

Preferably a shotgun mic with a muffler!

What sort of price would I be looking at for one of these? Don't want to spend too much you see!

A Manfrotto stabilizer. You can check out some videos on youtube of people using these things, and its ridiculous how a terrible stabilization on a camera can look like pro quality with the help of one of these. And at under $100 its a pretty darn good deal too. Lenses are a good idea too, particularly polarized and ultraviolet along with any wide angle, fish eye, etc.

In the end I found a really good price for a Jag35st and some lenses on eBay and started by buying that!

Works really nicely so far!
