Brand new MacBook Pro 13" Late 2016 NTB with 1 year old battery

coconutBattery is reporting almost 1 year old battery on a brand new MacBook Pro 13" Late 2016 NTB.

"is this real life" or some reporting error/bug?

It could be a bug, but even if it is true, it has 2.7% more capacity than it is meant to have so you have nothing to be concerned about.

So.... I received today a replacement unit due to an issue with the speakers. It reports now a much different manufacture date: 2016-11-20 (31 days).
