hey, i JUST got my mbp about 30 minutes ago, and i have it all set up, but now i have a huge problem, mail, aperture (preinstalled), ichat, iphoto, garage band, and imovie refuse to open. They say (this appliaction) quit unexpectedly.
I grabbed the error from mail, if that will help at all.

From the error message, it sounds like you're either missing a graphics library, or the file is corrupted.

If you're so inclined, you can pull out your install DVD and replace the bad file from one of the mpkg files. If not, do an archive and install on the OS. If that doesn't make the problem go away, then I would suspect a hardware issue.

If it's 30 minutes old, just reinstall the OS from the DVD's and see if that solves the problem.
