My primary reason for choosing the Server addition was the quad core i7. The server portion was an afterthought but will be utilized at some point.
For now I want to use Server HD for media storage only. I want the Macintosh HD2 disc to be the default drive for downloads and applications.
I just downloaded the CS5 Master and the .dmg went to the Server HD drive. I could tell this because the drive space was shrinking during download. I would like for these to go to the Macintosh HD2. How can I make this happen by default?
Also, when I go to install, the default install location is the Applications folder on the Server HD. How do I change this? I tried moving the Applications folder to Macintosh HD2 but it just copies it with a generic blue folder. (no ruler, pencil, brush inset in the folder)
