Yes, I've seen those threads but no one has posted the evidence or picture - apple suppliers do change along with which models they may use. All the info posted is from previous models - I m interested in knowing if they are now sata III drives

Highly doubt it would be sata III. They are just really starting to come out and be announced now.

I second that, with the warranty and no-hassle to put it in myself (thro it takes only 5 minutes)..
