Could somebody post info as to what ssd apple is using in the new 2011 macbook pros
"Not worth its cost" brand. Popular brand with Apple's online upgrades.
It's Toshiba. Do a search...seriously. There are a TON of threads on it.
I've seen those threads
Yes, I've seen those threads but no one has posted the evidence or picture - apple suppliers do change along with which models they may use. All the info posted is from previous models - I m interested in knowing if they are now sata III drives
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)
Toshiba in my 2011 i7.
Highly doubt it would be sata III. They are just really starting to come out and be announced now.
At $90, I'll have to disagree with you on that one.
I second that, with the warranty and no-hassle to put it in myself (thro it takes only 5 minutes)..
Once they have intel ssd:s i'll buy one. The current has a toshiba
