Brand(s) of HD used in SR MBP

I am just wondering where I could find out either which brand was used for each model of SR MBP HDs or how to tell the speed of the HD.

I got mine yesterday and just want to confirm it's the correct one as in my sig.

I guess just look up the brand/serial number on that company's website when I get home(curse you Dell Latitude D600 POS!).

A quick search for the model number will usually give you the drive specs.

All the stock configs are Fujitsu 5400rpm drives.

My 160GB is, indeed, Fujitsu. They use perpendicular recording, afaik. Tried finding information online and all I can gleam is that it's not a bad drive, not necessarily the best. Hopefully they'll perform admirably 🙂
