I have brave currently installed and yesterday they announced M1 native support, but one needs to download that particular version.

On PC’s I use Revo Uninstaller so that it CLEANLY uninstalls all of the associated files, which a normal uninstall will not do.

I am new to Mac. How does one do that on Mac to get rid of ALL associated files. Can I assume that a normal uninstall will not do that?

It would be nice if Brave would simply update but it is my understanding that one needs the particular M1 version.

Just download the new version and overwrite the existing app with it, no need to completely uninstall the old app.

Just click on the Apple logo in the menu bar->About this Mac->Storage->Applications. There you can select your app and delete.

I also have App Zapper handy in case things won’t get deleted properly.

Thanks for th replies. Do app cleaner/appzapper/ actually completely clean ALL old files In your experience? I am fairly certain simple file deletion will not.

Also, I have seen complaints that the M1 native version has a problem with digital rights. Anyone experience this?
