Brave Browser solely using 120hz versus adaptive on Safari?

I just did a 120Hz test from testufo and safari showed it was using 60Hz while on Brave it was using 120Hz. Does that mean a better experience on Brave? It is strange since, on the Ipad/iPhone, Brave shows 60Hz. I know the display is adaptive, just shocked that on Brave it wasn't varying.

Brave is working fine for me with adaptive (unlike Safari):
Brave is up to date
Version 1.31.87 Chromium: 95.0.4638.54 (Official Build) (arm64)


If I drag it to my external monitor, the top refresh rate goes down appropriately to what that's capable of.

And can you guys check if it's really 120fps? And scrolling feels as smooth as native apple apps?

Comparing it to Pages, yes I'd say it was the same, but it’s all a bit subjective.

Attached is a SloMo video of a Wikipedia page scrolling at full speed in first brave, and then safari.
