because of the physical damage you have there is no way you can prove that it didn't loosen some solder or damage an internal part. From your other thread it looks like it took a nice hit on that corner. Unless you have accidental you will not get it repaired by apple for any reason without paying out of your own pocket. Sorry to say but most companies I have dealt with are like that.

Ya, I've pretty much resolved myself to the fact that I'll be paying for the Logic Board as well as case repair. Still working on protecting my files by purchasing another hard drive, so I can send it out for repairs without fear of losing my thousands of pictures and iTunes etc.
