How about drop-testing phones in various cases?
Don't most people use a phone case of some kind?
Yes. I would like to see how cheap cases compare to OtterBox. I spent extra $35 on the Defender to protect my $100 phone.😶 If a cheap $10 hybrid case protects 95% as well as the OtterBox I would have gone that route.

Corner and side impact drops are the one that matters to me. All of the cases have enough of a raised lip that screen first drops on a flat surface does no damage.

Wow the open folding displays trounced all the other ones handily, that's really remarkable. After having now 4 generations of folding phones I can anecdotally attest to how sturdy they are, even more so when closed and the inner screen isn't exposed, the inner screens are tanks.

What's amazing to me is that the price of a foldable phone is only $600 more, which is really cheap IMO for the technology. And that's the most expensive foldables on the market from Samsung/Google, which are almost always on sale for at least a few hundred off.

If it breaks too easy then insurance will be high because as we know insurance companies do not like to pay out if they can help it.

I'm a returning customer. Could be an indicator of quality.
I wasn't really just talking about quality, but just grip. I've had some cases that were supposed to be high grip, but they weren't. Plastic things that ended up almost as slippery as the glass.

Its textured TPU on the sides and back. Wasn't slippery on hand or on desk. When I try to slide it to someone they end up walking to and handing me the phone personally as it would get less than foot before stopping on a table top.

Cool, thanks. That'll be my next phone case.

Finally, a real world test! I hate carrying my phone in my pocket, so I walk around all day with it balanced on the top of my head, and it is always falling off onto the concrete on which I’m constantly walking!
