A promotional image surfaced from an anonymous weibo user showing an iMac inspired TV set being produced by apple coming in the colours of the iPhone 13 + a new green colour. Judging by how there are unreleased promo images it might have been planned to be announced at the unleashed event in october.

And the price, $5,000 USD for the 27" model, charging/power brick and cable sold separately. And the remote has only ONE button! :D

Yeah, Sky glass. One TV to rule them all.....
Living rooms that is. Looks like a world wide grab for the TV stand space and tie people in. Not that I would want one.

edit. another link or two.

It looks surprisingly good. Most TV's regardless of cost look rather cheep.

Looks can be very deceiving, so far it’s receiving a lot of negativity with quite a few wanting to send it back from what I’ve been reading in a couple of different forums.
Here’s one guys review

Not liking it to be honest. Partly it is big (yeah, I understand there is a lot in it), no OLED option, but also it is an attempt to tie people into a particular product but I expect that people who are Sky orientated will like it. Time will tell on the take up. IPTV is the way but it is disjointed at the moment.

Then again I buy into Apple.

I like it purely on its appearance. The Sky functionality is not desired, I am not even remotely interested in watching live TV when I have my streaming services.

Different tastes and all that.
My TV is very thin in comparison, this looks a tad chunky for my likes, packing all the atmos, speakers and other gubbins into a single box sets alarm bells off for me. Rather get the full speaker set up and not tied to a panel in a box tied to a TV service should I wish to upgrade.
How much does the stand cost?
Stand looks like my hifi stand only shorter. That was around 60 notes a 8 years ago or so.

Chunky aye, but the nice metal or metal looking finish is a great step up from all the plastic fantastic looking black TV's (even your £3000+ OLED models). It wouldn't hurt to get TV's not looking like disposable products.

I didn't mean literally. Joke thread: what would Apple charge for the Apple stand for this "leaked Apple TV"?
Doh!
Well, take my words.
There are what 7 major scales (notes....)(?)) multiply by 60 then multiply by 6, and as there are 365 days in a year, add that I get 2885 for the stand.

Thinks.

Nah, too low. Must be multiply by 365.

Where do I pitch for a job at Apple? Got this nailed down.

Nah, the remote will be an iPod touch with no internals, just touch screen (which will be e-ink)
