Well, I've called the hosting company back. It seems the first gentleman that helped me didn't have all his facts together. When I called today the lady told me that my first name does not show up anywhere in their invoice or order of the hosting package.
So, this points me back to iPhoto. For both iPhoto and iTunes I have one-click ordering enabled. In my Apple account I use Brad, not my first name...this would match up with what the thief had access to.
And the more I've thought about this...the more I realize how crazy it is for someone who has lifted a credit card number to use it on a domain hosting package. Of all the things to purchase with someone else's info why this. I mean, if I still someone's number I'm going to buy something I can actually use. And the guy didn't even change the contact phone number or anything. He had to know that I would find out and shut the thing down.
It almost makes me think it was someone just trying to see if they could do it.
