My MacBook Pro 2016 Touch Bar is bricked. I want to reinstall the firmware. How do I put it in to DFU Mode?

Please do not send the instructions for DFU Mode on T2 Macs. This does not work on my model.

this info and link posted on this website might fix your MacBook pro:

there was much groveling over 's tactics
but you might be able to find info on how restore your MacBook pro

i hoped this helps!

I've also got a 2016 MacBook Pro I believe is bricked.

This is the method I keep finding to put my machine into DFU mode but after that, I don't know where to go. I keep looking for firmware that can be flashed but no luck so far.
